Non-QM loans often require fewer documents than conventional loans — not more. If you're self-employed or an investor, we likely need less than your bank asked for.

Before you apply.

A hard credit pull is required for formal loan application and will result in a small, temporary impact to your credit score — typically 3–5 points. Multiple mortgage inquiries within a 14–45 day window are generally treated as a single inquiry by credit scoring models. We only pull credit when you're ready to proceed.
Most files receive a same-day pre-qualification once Alex has reviewed your application and supporting documents. For complex files (multiple entities, foreign income, large portfolios), it may take until the following business morning. You'll always know where things stand.
Very often, yes. Banks use conventional underwriting guidelines that exclude self-employed income, RSUs, DSCR, and other legitimate income sources.
